We are dedicated to providing free health resources to those in need in the Jurupa Valley and Coachella Valley. Made up of our dedicated student volunteers, our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our community by providing accessible and compassionate healthcare services.
At Citrus Free Care, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare services, regardless of their ability to pay. Our team is committed to providing compassionate and personalized health resources to all patients who walk through our doors.
Assist with resource utilization — whether it be government-based aid, fresh produce, and housing.
Promote a well-nourished & active lifestyle through nutrition and education resources.
Provide children’s wellness kits and offer resources to support parents and care providers in need.
Provide preventative resources and educate the public regarding opioid overdoses.
Promote mental wellness and offer resources to support groups and referrals to specialists.
Offer health education, screenings, and resources for treatment and prevention.
Our team comprises healthcare graduates, gap year, and undergraduate students from the University of California, Riverside (UCR). We have joined hands to establish a free community-based wellness organization that caters to the health needs of the underserved populations of Jurupa and Coachella Valley.
A team of students established the Citrus Free Clinic in 2022 to provide free medical and non-medical services to underserved patients and offer pre-health students valuable clinic experience.
